Pat first lived in Pacific Grove on the Monterey Peninsula, before moving to Carmel-by-the-Sea at a young age.  She now leases most of her childhood home to tenants, but reserves an apartment above the garage for her frequent return visits to the Monterey area to run her antique business.

Among Pat's friends in the Carmel area is Alice Catania, her best friend since the age of 4.
